ImportantLedger and Lists primarily sells digital products. Unless a listing specifically says otherwise, nothing will be physically mailed to you.
HELP FILE 01

Ordering & Downloads

What exactly am I purchasing?

Most Ledger and Lists products are downloadable digital files created for printing at home or through an appropriate printing service.

Each product listing explains what files are included, the intended page dimensions, file format and other relevant specifications.

Will anything be shipped to me?

No. Unless the product listing specifically identifies an item as a physical product, your purchase is a digital download and no physical package will arrive in the mail.

Where do I get my files after purchasing?

After successful payment, your order should provide access to the downloadable files through the store's order and download system.

Depending on the checkout process, you may also receive order information at the email address you provided.

My download isn't working. What should I do?

First, make sure the file has completely downloaded to your device. Large ZIP files may take longer than expected, especially on a mobile connection.

If the file is missing, corrupted or will not open, contact us at mn@ledgerandlists.com.

Please include your order number and the name of the collection you purchased.

What is a ZIP file?

A ZIP file is a compressed folder that allows several digital files to be delivered together.

Most modern computers, tablets and smartphones can open ZIP files without additional software. You may need to extract or unzip the folder before opening the individual printable files.

HELP FILE 02

Printing Your Pages

What size are the printable pages?

Check the individual product listing for exact specifications.

Many Ledger and Lists journal-paper collections are designed as US Letter pages measuring 8.5 × 11 inches.

What does 300 DPI mean?

DPI refers to print resolution. Files prepared for 300 DPI are intended to provide good detail when printed at their specified physical size.

Always check the dimensions stated on the individual product listing before printing.

What printer setting should I use?

For a product designed for US Letter paper, choose US Letter and use 100% or Actual Size when you want the page printed at its intended dimensions.

If your printer cannot print all the way to the paper edge, it may add a small white border or require a Fit to Page setting.

What paper should I use?

That depends on the project. Standard printer paper works for many journal applications, while heavier matte paper can give pages and ephemera more body.

Warm white, ivory or cream paper can complement the aged appearance of many Ledger and Lists collections.

Always confirm that the paper you choose is compatible with your printer.

Why don't the printed colors exactly match my screen?

Screens produce color using light, while printers reproduce color using ink or toner. Monitor calibration, printer model, ink, paper and printer settings can all affect the final appearance.

Some variation between the on-screen preview and the printed page is normal.

Can I print the pages smaller?

Yes. Your printer software can generally scale a page below 100% when you want smaller journal pages or elements.

Exact scaling controls vary by printer and software.

HELP FILE 03

Using Your Printables

Can I print my purchase more than once?

Yes. You may print your purchased files multiple times for uses permitted under the Ledger and Lists Digital Product License.

Can I use the pages in my own junk journal?

Yes. The collections are designed for creative uses such as junk journals, scrapbooks, altered books, collage, memory keeping and related physical paper crafts.

Can I sell a handmade journal containing these pages?

Under our standard license, you may incorporate printed Ledger and Lists artwork into handmade physical finished products that you personally create and sell on a small-business basis.

Please read the full Digital Product License before selling products incorporating our artwork.

Can I sell printed copies of the pages by themselves?

No. The standard license is intended to allow the artwork to become part of your own finished handmade physical creation.

Simply printing the pages and reselling them as individual sheets, paper packs or substantially unchanged reproductions is not permitted under the standard license.

Can I sell or share the digital files?

No. Purchased digital files may not be resold, redistributed, uploaded to sharing sites, emailed to other people or repackaged into another digital collection.

Can I use the artwork for print-on-demand products?

Not under the standard Digital Product License. Print-on-demand and unrestricted mass production require separate permission unless a particular product expressly states otherwise.

Refunds & Problems

Can I return a digital download?

Because digital products cannot ordinarily be physically returned after delivery, digital purchases are generally considered final.

Please see our Refund & Return Policy for complete information.

What if the file is damaged or incorrect?

Contact us. If a purchased file is genuinely missing, corrupted, inaccessible or materially different from its listing, we'll investigate and work to provide an appropriate solution.

What if I accidentally buy the same product twice?

Contact us with the applicable order numbers. Verified duplicate purchases may qualify for a refund of the duplicate transaction.
