Digital Product License
About This License
Unless a product listing states otherwise, digital products purchased from Ledgers & List are licensed to the purchaser under the terms described on this page.
Purchasing a digital product gives you permission to use the files within the scope of this license. It does not transfer ownership, copyright or intellectual-property rights in the original digital artwork.
- Print the files for your own personal creative projects.
- Use printed elements in junk journals, scrapbooks, collage, altered books and other paper crafts.
- Cut, layer, distress, embellish and physically modify printed elements.
- Give handmade physical projects containing the printed artwork as gifts.
- Sell handmade physical finished products incorporating the printed artwork on a small-business basis.
- Resell or redistribute the original digital files.
- Share purchased files with other people, groups or online communities.
- Upload the files to file-sharing websites or shared digital libraries.
- Repackage the artwork into another digital junk-journal kit, printable pack, clip-art collection or digital-paper bundle.
- Sell substantially unchanged digital versions of the artwork.
- Claim the original Ledgers & List artwork as your own.
- Use the files to create products whose primary purpose is to redistribute the original artwork digitally.
Handmade Physical Products
You may incorporate printed Ledgers & List artwork into handmade physical products that you personally create and sell on a small-business basis.
Examples include handmade junk journals, altered books, scrapbooks, collage pieces, cards and other finished physical paper crafts.
The Ledgers & List artwork should form part of your finished creative product rather than simply being printed and resold as standalone sheets.
Digital Products
This license does not permit using Ledgers & List files to create competing digital downloads.
Changing the size, color, file format, orientation or other minor characteristics of an image does not turn the underlying artwork into a new digital product that may be redistributed.
Print-on-Demand & Mass Production
This standard license does not include unrestricted mass production or use of the artwork as standalone designs on print-on-demand marketplaces.
If Ledgers & List later offers extended commercial licensing, those permissions will be described separately and will apply only when specifically purchased or granted.
Copyright & Ownership
Except for third-party material where otherwise stated, Ledgers & List retains its rights in the original digital products and artwork it distributes.
A purchase grants a license to use the product. It does not constitute a sale or transfer of the underlying intellectual-property rights.
One Purchase, One Customer
A standard purchase is licensed to the individual purchaser. Files should not be shared among friends, crafting groups, businesses or other users.
Each person who wants access to the original digital files should purchase their own copy unless a product specifically includes a different license.
